Last updated: August 12, 2026 (08/12/2026) · Version 1.0

This Cookies Policy governs the use of cookies and similar technologies on the Veterinary AI website (veterinaryai.ai), in compliance with Article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE), Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD).

Summary

We use only the cookies strictly necessary for the site to work and, with your express consent, analytics cookies to improve the service. We never install advertising or profiling cookies without your authorization.

1.What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that websites store on the user's device (computer, tablet, mobile) when they visit them. They allow the website to remember information about the visit, such as the preferred language, an active session, or other options, making subsequent visits smoother.

Similar technologies serve the same purpose, such as tracking pixels, device identifiers, HTML tags, local storage (localStorage, sessionStorage), or mobile advertising identifiers. We refer to all of them generically as "cookies" throughout this document.

2.Types of cookies we use

Cookies can be classified according to different criteria. Below we explain which cookies we use on veterinaryai.ai, what they are for, and how long they remain on your device.

2.1. By the entity that manages them

  • First-party cookies: those sent to the user's device from our own domain and managed exclusively by Veterinary AI.
  • Third-party cookies: those sent to the user's device from a domain other than ours, managed by other entities that process the data obtained.

2.2. By purpose

  • Technical or strictly necessary cookies: they allow users to browse the website and use its different options or services (session identification, access to restricted areas, remembering items in an order, security, fraud prevention). They are exempt from the prior consent requirement.
  • Preference or personalization cookies: they allow users to access the service with predefined characteristics (language, browser type, regional settings).
  • Analytics or measurement cookies: they allow us to count the number of users and analyze how they use the site, in order to improve the products and services offered. They require prior consent.
  • Advertising cookies: they manage advertising space. Veterinary AI does NOT use advertising cookies.
  • Behavioral advertising cookies: they allow personalized advertising based on profiles built about the user. Veterinary AI does NOT use this type of cookie.

2.3. By duration

  • Session cookies: automatically deleted when the browser is closed. They are typically used to retain the information needed during a single visit.
  • Persistent cookies: they remain stored on the user's device for a period defined by the controller, ranging from a few minutes to several years.
